My name is Cheniah Fidino-Yamoto, and I am a Certified Life Coach, Reiki Practitioner, Nutritional researcher, Ordained Spiritual Minister, LMT and RN student extraordinaire in Anchorage, Alaska. Since 1999, as an LMT I have worked with chiropractors, acupuncturists, osteopathic doctors, innovators, and most recently with physical therapy patients recovering from surgery at a local physical therapy office. In other modalities I have worked with so many great people from so many different and unique expertises, I couldn't list them all. I also do Life Coaching, nutritional research, and complementary healing arts. My goal is to help people become all they can be by specializing in blending the metaphysical, the physical and the practical. In the end there is nothing more practical than investing in our personal well-being. "For only when we truly love (thus know) ourselves can we create a fulfilled life".

Life coaching or combined sessions are meant to help empower the person to realize that they create their own reality and experience of Life. This is done mainly by examining ones attitudes, beliefs, and thought patterns as they determine what we create and draw to us in our lives. Much of this is subconscious and that is the point of bringing it to the surface so it can be examined and we work together in non-judgment and as a team. Life coaching is meant to help the person create a well rounded life with satisfaction and enjoyment in all areas; financial, personal, spiritual, family, relationships, childhood, hobbies, professional, etc. and emphasis on emotional health is of primary importance. I have been working in the medical field as an LMT, doing intuitive counseling and lifestyle coaching since late 1999. I have been certified as a Life coach since 2006. Life coaching and nutritional counseling is available by email as well as an individual session or as ongoing for a reduced fee. Essential Oils for your Health:

Essential oils (as many of you may already know) have been used in various cultures for thousands of years as incense, perfumes, cosmetics, in culinary application and most importantly as medicine. These subtle, highly complex liquids are distilled from plants, shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes, and seeds.

I have been using essential oils both personally with my family and professionally with my massage clients and have seen some fantastic results for a wide range of issues and symptoms.

There are many companies world wide involved in the aromatherapy industry today. As with the health food and supplement industry it is wise to do your own research and find what works best in your own body.

One of the companies making essential oils that I have found to be extremely beneficial is Young Living Essential Oils and more recently Doterra essential oils. They make some very interesting blends and there is one in particular that I will never again leave home without! For Doterra it is one called ON Guard and for young living it is called Thieves (same blend except OnGuard has orange instead of lemon). This oil came to be as a result of research finding a group of fourteen thieves who made history because they were able to avoid contracting the plague while robbing the bodies of the dead and dying. It was later found that their secret weapon of survival was a brilliant formula of herbs, spices, and oils combined to provide ultimate protection against the deadly germs. When apprehended by the authorities they exchanged their secret formula for less severe criminal punishment.

According to People's Desk Reference for Essential Oils compiled by Essential Science Publishing, this very blend has been tested at Weber State University and found to have a 99.96 percent kill rate against airborne bacteria. The combination of the oils used in this blend, pack an arsenal of defense waging war against germs in a mighty way. These collective oils are known to be antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-infectious and have been used with great success to ward off flu, colds, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, sore throats as well as staving off infections from cuts and open wounds. This historic potent mix contains oils of: clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus, and rosemary.

Young Living has a line of wonderful products that contain the Thieves oil blend. Doterra also has amazing oil blends with exceptional quality. These are a must on the travel list as well as the homebound list! Instead of reaching for the chemical and often toxic household cleaners and sprays to combat household airborne bacteria and germs, there is a great alternative! Now we can use Thieves Household Cleaner in the form of a spray or wipes or add Onguard to water in a spray bottle and make your own. These products can be used anywhere you want to destroy germs and bacteria. Great to use at work, in public restrooms, on planes, trains, or in automobiles! Young Living even has a purse or briefcase size spray bottle perfect for travel. As if that isn't enough they have thought of everything! The wonders of Thieves can also be found in throat lozenges and also in an all natural toothpaste called Dentarome Plus. What a great concept for toothpaste to include oils that are known to be antimicrobial.

I have used these oils, especially thyme oil but also clove and oregano and cinnamon for whenever I feel run down or that I might be close to getting sick. I never end up getting sick even when I am around sick people. These oils are natural anti-biotics, natural anti-virals and excellent anti-oxidants. They also oxygenate your blood are anti-carcinogenic. Clove has the most amazing ORAC reading I have ever seen ( calculated by a device that measures anti-oxidant capacity). The health benefits are endless but I encourage you to read up and see what more you can find. The Essential Oils Desk Reference is an invaluable tool for me for navigating through Young livings oils/ products/ research and how they do what they do, also what may be best for a particular condition. However there are also many other books on essential oils that are great and I have many of them too. Young living and Doterra oils also have a large array of emotional blends designed to uplift you, soothe you or help you through whatever transition you may be in in your life. I use many of these everyday for relaxation, deoderant, disinfection, and also perfume. It is becoming widely known now that emotional health is linked directly with our health on all other levels so Young Living's and Doterra's Emotional Blends are among some of my favorites.

I am in no way an expert about the use and benefits of essential oils, but I plan to learn as much as I can because from what I have already experienced I am convinced that they hold a very important key in unlocking the door to health, recovery, and maintaining wellness.

I have been using these oils since 1996. Many years ago decided to become a distributor of these products because I am really enjoying the results I get for me and my family and (I also enjoy getting them wholesale)!! Having to sign up and spend $10-50.00 to become a preferred customer or distributor are definitely deterrents for some people and I can fully understand that, as those are typically concerns of mine as well. However, I have yet to find other companies that make products using essential oils, with the quality of these or that have such amazing results (even with treating cancer). I have done a lot of research over the years comparing Young Living oils and Dottera's oils to others and the other companies just don't have the evidence to back up their product.
